Christmas is full of traditions.
With three boys, at or under three, we’re never short on dull moments. For the next twelve days, I wanted to share unique things to our family: thoughts, recipes, traditions, videos, posts, ideas; consider it a virtual Christmas Card from The Hams.
Join with us as we celebrate.
Day 1:
Our three-year old – Matthew, Jr. loves to sing. He and Buddy the Elf would be best friends.

MH
With Daddy working long hours in December at UPS, my 7 year old and I began an awesome tradition when he was 2 years old. Each November I pick a Christmas centered word and fill our Advent box with a Word related activity for each day of the month. It has taught us both to find a smile while Daddy is gone working so hard for us.
Past words have been Lord, Joy, Elf, Christmas, and Love. This year our word is Peace. I think it is our favorite so far:)
P- “Peace” of Pie for one of our Pastors
E- Encourage a friend who needs a Smile
A- Adoration to the King in Worship
C- Card for a teacher
E- “Elf” a neighbor (aka Christmas style of ding-dong-ditch)
We love “Elf” -ing people!!!!
Try it:) Your boys will love it:)
I love it Jacklyn!!! Thanks for sharing – have a wonderful Christmas and a peaceful holiday season!!
